At the age of 18, which is the legal age of majority in Brazil, two significant permissions coincide: individuals can both obtain a driver’s license and legally consume beer.

The goal was to create a video highlighting the importance of not drinking and driving simultaneously, particularly in countries like Brazil where the legal age for both activities aligns.

The story revolves around a character influenced by two forbidden objects – a box symbolizing driving and a handle representing alcoholic drinks. Upon turning 18, when he gains legal access to both, he uses them simultaneously, connecting them like a detonator.

In an effort to raise awareness about this issue, Volkswagen, the sponsor of ‘Maio Amarelo’ (Yellow May), the traffic awareness month, partnered with AlmapBBDO and Vetor Zero to produce this animated film, offering a unique and creative perspective on the subject.
